ABOUT THE ROLE
Join our dynamic team as a Finance & People Intern and immerse yourself in the multifaceted world of an international nonprofit organisation. You'll delve into areas such as recruiting, financial operations, team events, office management and gender equity programmes. We're seeking an empathetic team player with a keen eye for detail, ready to tackle diverse and exciting tasks. This internship is an exceptional opportunity for students of Business Administration or related fields, passionate about creating positive change.
YOUR TASKS
Assist in all aspects of the recruiting process, from crafting job advertisements to screening candidates and facilitating communication, working closely with various departments and our People & Culture Manager. You will also have the chance to work on projects related to the HR field, such as the implementation of a new HR software.
Gain insights into the financial operations of an international social enterprise, exploring topics such as nonprofit management, accounting principles and supporting in financial reporting activities.
Support general office management tasks, including travel and accommodation arrangements, office supplies management, and coordinating team meetings and events, fostering an efficient and vibrant work environment.
Collaborate with our Impact Team, focusing on Gender Equity Programmes, by providing administrative support, aiding in reporting activities, and contributing to event coordination.
Assist in data management and other special projects according to your own interest and career aspirations.
YOUR PROFILE
You are in a bachelor's or master's degree program in Business Administration, Finance, Human Resource Management or a comparable course of study.
You demonstrate passion for our organisation's mission, particularly in the area of Gender Equity.
You have a good knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
You speak German and English very well (other languages such as Spanish or French are an advantage).
You are based in Berlin and available for three to six months starting from June 2024.
You are a team player who thrives in diverse cultural settings.
You enjoy learning new things and approach tasks with structure and diligence.
